Offer terms change

Banks and card issuers change, target and withdraw offers without notice. We check issuer pages regularly and show when each offer's terms were last verified, but the terms on the issuer's own site at the moment you apply are the only ones that count. Confirm them before you apply, and keep a copy.

Estimates, not guarantees

After-tax values use the tax rate you enter and typical assumptions about interest rates, point values and fees. Your actual result depends on your approval, the bank's interpretation of its own rules, how the bonus is reported and when it pays. Opening accounts can have consequences we cannot predict for you, such as a ChexSystems or Early Warning Services record, a hard credit inquiry, or a bank closing your accounts.

Taxes

Bank bonuses are taxable income in the United States. We show estimated tax and offer a year-end export, but we do not prepare tax returns. Ask a tax professional about your own situation.
